What goes into a Fancy Cake?

A cake is never just a cake when with us. Cakes are pieces of happiness as well as being pieces of art. It is imperative to us that we don’t make “a” cake, but “your” cake, which means that you will get a unique cake to fit your unique personality. We always strive to put a special detail even when replicating our own designs to result in a bespoke product.

What is different about your cakes?

Our cakes are made from scratch and sourced from nut free materials.  This results in a very fluffy cake with a tender crumb.  Our buttercream and fillings are never too sweet and we pride ourselves on not using an abundance of processed items.  This does result in a different taste and texture than supermarket or commercial bakeries.

We custom bake and make your order and do not rely on having open stock of cake.  We prefer to focus on providing a custom experience where we can tailor our process to fit the needs of our customers every week.

Are you open to the public?

Yes! we have a small selection of cupcakes, cookies, and brownies as well as small cakes ready to go. Keep in mind for questions or consultations please make an appointment or email/call us.

What about allergies? What options do you offer?

All of our cakes are nut free. We do take great care in sourcing our ingredients from distributors that we have been working with for a long time in a nut free environment.

We also offer dairy free, egg free, vegan, and glatt kosher options.

Do I need to know exactly what I want to send you an inquiry?

Absolutely not! We can totally work together and create a design collaboration.  Part of ordering a custom cake is the process of creating! We love to combine designs and work with our clients.

Feel free to send all the information you want to provide, all your ideas, pictures of things you like, even if they are not cake images, it gives us an idea for the vibe of your event or occasion.

How far in advance do I need to get in touch?

The sooner the better of course – But we have a 2 week minimum.  Rush orders within that two weeks may be possible but will incur a $50 rush fee.
